Job Summary We are seeking a warm, high-energy Barista to join our team. You will be a key part of day to day running of the cafe, crafting exceptional espresso beverages, maintaining a welcoming environment, and delivering standout customer service. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Drink Preparation: Grind, weigh, and extract espresso; steam milk to proper temperatures and textures; craft specialty beverages according to recipe standards.</li><li>Customer Experience: Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, take accurate orders, and offer tailored recommendations.</li><li>POS &amp; Transactions: Operate POS, process cash and card payments accurately.</li><li>Store Maintenance: Keep work stations and equipment tidy throughout your shift.</li><li>Quality &amp; Safety: Follow all food safety regulations, monitor bean freshness, and regularly calibrate (dial in) espresso grinders.</li><li>Inventory &amp; Restocking: Restock syrups, dairy/non-dairy milks and report low stock to management.</li></ul> Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Experience: Previous barista or food service experience preferred, but passion for coffee and willingness to learn are essential.</li><li>Skills: Strong communication, active listening, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.</li><li>Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift stock with significant weight.</li><li>Availability: Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul> What&#39;s in it for you?<ul><li>Career Opportunities &amp; Progression</li><li>25% Discount across the Group</li><li>Apprenticeship schemes</li><li>On demand well being support</li><li>WSET, H&amp;S and FA training opportunities</li></ul>
