We’re hiring: Junior Butcher

We’re looking for a keen Junior Butcher who’s as happy working on the block as they are helping prep and pack orders for our central production kitchen and shop.

Walcot Group is a family of venues — Walcot House, Solina, Mother & Wild, Green Street Butchers, and more. Each with its own flavour, all with the same goal: great food, great drink, great hospitality.

You’ll be working with top-quality whole carcasses and local produce, a proper bit of kit, and a butchery team that’s got your back. One day you might be prepping cuts for our restaurant menus, the next helping serve customers at Green Street Butchers or learning traditional curing and sausage making — we like butchers who are flexible, curious, and up for learning the trade inside out.

What we’re after:

Basic knife skills or preliminary kitchen/butchery experience, combined with a genuine desire to learn
Calm under pressure, and happy to muck in across production and retail
A good eye for detail, clean working habits, and high hygiene standards
Pride in your craft, your section, and your team
