We’re hiring: A Restaurant Host

We’re after people who love looking after people. Simple as that. The Walcot Group is a family of restaurants — with Solina its newest member. Serving delicious, quick, and affordable handmade pasta. Solina is a busy, vibrant place to be. The menu champions Italian flavour combinations and British produce, with meat supplied by the Walcot Group’s own butcher’s shop.

As our Host you'll be our guests first impression of the Solina experience. A positive attitude is essential. As the Ambassador for the Solina Team you will be well presented, confident and adaptable to ensure each of our customers feels valued and looked after in the Walcot Group Way.

What we’re after:

Supervise and support front-of-house and/or back-of-house staff during shifts.
More than just a friendly face you'll create a real Solina welcome for our customer and have a genuine way with people - a true Ambassador for the site.
Solid experience as a host or in a role similar to this is crucial
Solina is a very busy restaurant that operates with a Virtual Queuing system - You will need to be naturally very calm under pressure, with an eye for the little details that keep our customers (hungry) smiling
A problem solver. This is key - you thrive on finding solutions
